We are currently looking for a Developer with DevOps experience to join us. 

The client 

Jellow is a company based in the Netherlands that provides a platform where freelancers and clients can find each other with minimal effort. They call it a “freelance self-sourcing platform”. Jellow is originally Dutch but is also present in Belgium and Ireland. The freelance market is dynamic, and so is Jellow.

About the role and you 

As a Developer with DevOps experience, you will be one of the technical people responsible for the upkeep, monitoring, and improvement of everything required to make our websites and tooling run smoothly. You will take care of the foundation that allows our products to function. When not working on DevOps projects, you will join our development team to help us improve and expand our product as an integral member of our international development team. 

You will be working dedicatedly for Jellow from Skopje, together with experienced developers from the Netherlands and Serbia. For Jellow, distance is just a number. They value and respect you as a full-fledged team member, with your own personality, skills, and input. 

Expertise and skills 

Your skill set and experience shows that 

• You have strong experience with setting up, maintaining, improving, and troubleshooting cloud-based servers running (PHP) Laravel and Vue.js code, and MySQL servers 
• You are experienced PHP developer with (preferably) Laravel, or Symfony knowledge minimum 2 years of proven work experience 
• You are experienced in (preferably) Vue.JS, or React 
• You know your way around Vanilla JavaScript, Bootstrap, and CSS3 
• You have proven DevOps experience
• You enjoy optimizing workflows and are interested in CI/CD 
• You are communicative and able to explain complex concepts in a simple way and are willing to accept/give feedback (positive criticism) 
• You enjoy taking ownership of tasks/projects, are not afraid to speak your mind and suggest solutions/implementation 

Education 

Bachelor’s Degree (B.Sc.) of Informatics and computer engineering or similar is considered as a plus. 

Foreign languages 

You will also work directly with our client, so fluent English is required 

Minimum B1 (Intermediate), but B2 / C1 preferred.
