For one of our clients we are looking for Senior .NET Developer.

About the client and project

Our client is a big provider of payment and ordering solutions, both offline and online, used in The Netherlands, Belgium, and France. They put great emphasis on providing the best customer service possible. Their systems can be found in over 2000 sports canteens, 500 hospitality venues, 13 stadiums and at more than 200 event locations. Our client develops and implements operational payment solutions aimed to be the most convenient payment solutions while adding value to the users.

Their product team is developing a new multifunctional progressive web application with lots of features for their customers, while using the latest technology stack and standards for new modules, as well as improving existing ones. The solution is used for all kinds of use cases and environments like self-service hospitality and corporate catering to name a few.

Experience and skills

• 6+ years of experience with .NET/.NET Core
• You can work according to the SOLID principles
• You have extensive and up-to-date knowledge of the Azure ecosystem
• Experience in developing Native Cloud solutions
• Knowledge of Azure Architecture patterns
• You have experience with Azure DevOps, Git and deployment pipelines
• You have practical experience with TDD and Unit Testing
• You think in terms of service architectures (REST, GraphQL)
• You have a lot of experience with relational systems like SQL Server
• As a .NET developer, you don’t focus on, but you do have an understanding of the front-end side of the matter (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, frameworks like Angular, React or Vue.js, etc.)

Our client builds its payment and ordering solutions daily with a mature and skilled development team. They have the ambitious plan to streamline their software development. There is a heavy focus on (Microsoft Azure) Cloud SaaS.

As a Senior .NET developer you will:

• Integrate the software products and enable the transition to Azure. Our client’s approach is focused on a central SaaS framework with extensibility layers and a series of different front-end applications. In addition, you will contribute to the further development of the payment and ordering solutions
• Translating functional requirements into technical designs
• Making architectural choices together with our architects, under the guidance of our CTO
• Make the most of existing build-or-buy services and best practices
• Optimize and expand existing systems and implement new requirments

Foreign languages

You will work directly with our client, so fluent proficiency of English is required.
